This was the first year that Bambo Nature Diapers and Baby Wipes were entered into the well-known Loved By Parents Awards. Hundreds of other brands from all over the world were also entered, so we were thrilled to be told that Bambo Nature Baby Wipes won silver award for best eco-friendly baby wipes.
The Ethical Consumer Best Buy Award
Bambo Nature Diapers and Training Pants have been awarded the Ethical Consumer Best Buy award. This is a fundamental award for Bambo Nature because the Ethical Consumer best buy award is final confirmation on ethical labelling and makes it even easier to find the products and services that reflect your principles.
Consumer product labels now appear on an increasing number of ethical products and services; the Ethical Consumer Best Buy Label helps shoppers choose genuinely ethical products and services.
It's a unique label that looks in detail at the ethical record of the company behind the product and the environmental and ethical record of the product itself.
Ethical Consumer believe that this approach helps shoppers avoid falling for ethical and environmental claims that turn out to be little more than “greenwash”.
For example a jar of coffee could be labelled as being organic, Fairtrade or both but be made by a controversial multi-national corporation and would never receive the Best Buy logo.

2014 Mumii Awards
The Bambo Nature Baby Wipes and Training Pants were entered into the Best Baby and Toddler Gear 2014 Awards. With all products shortlisted you can imagine the excitement within our team, especially when up against big retail brands.
Once consumer testing came to an end and online voting results were counted up, Bambo Nature Baby Wipes and Training pants went on to win the Bronze Awards for Best Baby Wipes and Best Training Pants.
Baby Gear Lab - Editor's Choice Award
We believe the performance of Bambo Nature Diapers is second to none and this was proven when the diapers were tested and reviewed independently by Baby Gear Lab.
A quote from the findings of the Baby Gear Lab review:
“Bambo is about as close to a cloth diaper as a disposable can be. The materials used are truly fabric-like, which lends itself to a great fit and soft feel. Bambo is also very eco-friendly, being awarded the coveted Nordic Swan Eco-Label. Bambo diapers make every effort at being hypoallergenic with no chlorine, dyes or latex. Bambo Nature does use SAP*, but with tough construction and high quality materials the likelihood that your baby comes in contact with little crystals after wetting is very slim compared with other disposables.”
*SAP (Super Absorbent Polymer) turns into ‘gel balls’ when mixed with urine and ‘locks the urine and odour’ inside the nappy and away from the child’s skin.
Gentle Parenting Awards 2015
The Gentle Parenting awards bring something new and fresh to the parenting industry; the award has ethics rather than just being focused on the big well-known retail brands.
All award winners all share the same traits of being gentle to the child as well as the environment.
Bambo Nature Diapers and Baby Wipes were the perfect fit for these awards, because our products promote environmentally friendly business practice throughout the product lifecycle. They are made up of mild ingredients that are kind on even a new born baby’s skin.
The awards are judged by Gentle Parenting’s very own experts, combined with a parent’s review panel and also the thousands of parents who visit their website.
Once consumer and expert testing, as well as online voting came to an end, much to Bambo Nature’s excitement, Bambo Nature Diapers won Gold for Best Disposable Diaper and the Baby Wipes went on to win the Silver Award for Best Baby Wipes.
